Guru Vision is Goal Guru's advanced AI football predictions and analysis model, built to give you a complete picture of any match before it kicks off and as it evolves in real time. Rather than surface-level summaries, Guru Vision combines live in-match statistics, recent team form, head-to-head history, and season-wide averages to produce a structured, evidence-based analysis of how the match is likely to unfold.
Every analysis covers result confidence, a projected scoreline, total goals, both-teams-to-score, expected cards, and corners — each insight anchored to a specific stat or trend rather than vague generalisations. As the match progresses, a Guru user can regenerate the analysis at any time for a fresh read on how the game is developing.
How Guru Vision Works
Guru Vision processes multiple layers of data simultaneously. Live stats like shots, dangerous attacks, possession, and cards are weighted most heavily because they reflect what is actually happening on the pitch. These are combined with recent form from the last 5–10 matches, head-to-head patterns, and season averages to build a full picture of each team's tendencies and the likely trajectory of the match.
The result is a concise match report — designed to be read in under a minute — that tells you who controls the game, why, and what is most likely to happen next.
Four Tabs: Today, Live, Surprises, and Track Record
Tap the Guru Vision icon in the bottom navigation and the model's view of the whole day is organised into four tabs:
- Today: the day's Guru Summary — Best Predictions, Safe Matches, Strong Value and Value Matches, Starting Soon, and Today's Results.
- Live: every match in play with its pre-match call and the live prediction beside it, so you can see where a game is going to plan and where it has turned.
- Surprises: live matches where the pre-match favourite is behind on the scoreboard — what's defying the model right now.
- Track record: how often the predictions have been right, by market and by confidence, over a day, 7, 30, or 90 days, or all time. See Track Record.
Pre-Match Predictions
Open any match and switch to the Guru Vision AI tab before kickoff to see win/draw/loss probabilities generated by a model trained on historical form and stats — available to every signed-in user. Unlock the full picture with Striker or Guru and you get many markets covering goals, halves, team goals, and first-to-score, along with Expected Goals (xG) projections and a "Prediction changes" chart that tracks how the model's home/draw/away probabilities moved in the run-up to the match.
"Model vs Market" highlights likely outcomes the price underrates — where the model rates an outcome as more likely than the market does — and "Why the model thinks so" breaks down the reasoning behind the headline pick: recent form, xG trends, shots on target, and more.
Score Table, Goal and Corner Ranges
Striker and Guru predictions go beyond single markets. A score table shows the chance of every scoreline from 0-0 up to 5-5 as a heat map, with the three most likely results called out — "1-1: 12%". Goal and corner ranges give the band a total is likely to land in — say, 1 to 3 goals at 70% — for the match, for each team, and for each half, alongside the expected number of goals and corners. And once the match is live, the live predictions add a Next Goal card: how likely the home side, the away side, or nobody is to score the next goal. Live Guru Vision: Analysis That Updates as the Match Evolves
Guru Vision doesn't stop at kickoff. Once the match is live, generate a written AI breakdown on demand and regenerate it anytime for a fresh read as the game develops — a red card, a substitution, or a swing in momentum all change the analysis. It's the same model, re-run against the current live state of the match instead of the pre-match picture.
